i read little Ceasers book some tim,e back..my brothers run with bike crew..no names..im a loner myself but know many good loyal friends who are in different places n times n the love of riding as ive been since the day i learnt t ride a pushbike my father a keen biker all his life an he put me on a mini bike same day an had his friends over...but he had certain rules that do sink into a 3/4 yr old kid instantly ..we were never allowed brakes as he said if you cant stop this without brakes you cant an shouldnt be riding/thats a story for another chapter of my oiwn...lol...who cares...good t see the series...stay free

After waiting for this film to be free I’ve just watched it. Same ol same ol. The one thing they forgot was the motorcycle part and did the usual fantasy love story garbage about the founding of the ……. MC. It’s like going to the zoo to witness wildlife. Folks if you’d like a taste buy a bike and introduce yourself. POS FILM

Hello mate haven’t watched one of your videos in a long while now fell out of love with riding a few years ago after a crash but I’m slowly getting back into it. It’s really interesting hearing other peoples experiences with clubs here in the uk. I’ve never been in a club and don’t think I’d ever want to be but one thing I’ve always wanted to know is how do these clubs find out who there hang arounds and prospects are ? What’s stopping someone coming in as an undercover or like you say with dodgy convictions. It’s always amazed me that people go from strangers to long life friends within a year or so, surely theres not clubs DBS checking potential members and stuff like that? Sorry for the odd question lol I just find it interesting. Ride safe

Hi Dibber, I'm from the club world we are on Facebook so I'll give my tuppence. It was from the girls perspective like Legend was and yes it was a massive puff piece in favour of not making the bikers look bad, in fact it went against the current trend of belittling men and dared to show a bit of testosterone. The early scene of him openly sat outside watching the house to make sure she was safe until he left the house for me was more of a conceptual representation for time rather than meant as reality. In fact there's very little reality in the film, I watched it as a story much like in the vein of old norse stories quite removed from reality and more towards the ethos and mystical viewpoint. It wasn't a documentary, it was a film that for me could have been a lot worse, the acting, I think was great for what it was meant to be, did they 'act' like actual bikers? No. Honestly, I really liked it for what it was and appreciated they didn't make men and especially bikers look bad. With respect that's my take on it.

I had no interest in seeing this and now I'm glad I didn't.

Totally agree. Like you, I streamed it for free. It was a movie for women. That's a massive market btw - if you search Google Books with the simple term "motorcycle" you'll see that it's all content for women. I dislike the way they turned Butler's character into a simp beyond a simp - he actually becomes a puppy at the end, with puppy eyes, having given up bikes! What the hell... Anyway, the movie's point was supposed to bring that picture-book to life, and I thought one thing it did well was communicate the director's DISBELIEF in that woman's story. The journalist character exudes DISBELIEF on purpose. I think DISBELIEF is fair. I wanted to watch it because of the vintage bikes, and they do look cool, but there's no attention paid to them at all. They're just theatrical props.

I wish you had done this review sooner Dib. Myself and the missus went to see this movie a couple weeks ago, we left before the film was even half way through. It's a stinking pile, most boring biker related film ever.

My wife is a huge fan of Tom Hardy but I knew this movie was bad when my daughter asked the wife if she would go and see the movie again with her as she hadn't seen it and the wife flat out said no. The wife said it's the worst Tom Hardy film she's ever seen, my daughter agreed with the wife after going to see it with some of her friends and said she couldn't sit through it a second time.

I love seeing the roads from where I was lucky enough to be a young one. Excellent views

I watched it but the way the story is told is not my thing. I felt it had a lot more truth running through it than most of the sh*ite we see (for the US clubs). Overall though I was really bored took me two goes to get through it.

I noticed the old phone box, the red ones we used to have. This area is alot like my town in some places where they haven't totally ruined it. Same kind of Roman looking buildings with the big pillars. And yer we have a couple of eye sore "art" that cost a bomb. What are the washing/toilet facilities like? I think we have 2 in my town, used to be more but they shut them due to silly folk ODing in them. Ps just so you know, sound and picture is great. Wouldnt have noticed any wind had you not mentioned it. Im thinking of getting a gopro for my motorbike, not long now until its at mine, and i believe some insurance companies will do cheaper insurance if you do have one. Idk something i need to look into. Any way nice vid, Malta is a gem of a place i wouldnt of known much about if it wasnt for your vids. Take care Dibs, ride safe in this nice weather. ✌️🤘

Ask a question if you want to start a MC %99 club in the UK In an area like Chester where there is no Clubs outwardly claiming the area in the sense that there's no chapters operating who would you go to and how would you find the right people to approach To get blessings? Only reason why I ask it is because all the information I can find is about American clubs and they work differently because they work by states not cities usually

I ride both Lambrettas and Indians - was going to embroider my old 80’s SC patch on the back of my vest. No rockers and no territory. Any issues you can see with that whilst riding my Indian @dibberinthewind ?

The only patches I have nowadays id BSAOC and REOC and do my own thing when I get asked again to come back or join a club I say "if I wanted to do what I am told I would marry a bitch or join the army" clubs are for some folks but not for me anymore!

I agree with you, the MCC and MC seen has changed, some clubs recruit just for numbers not for dedication, I don't know why it has changed but suspect the likes of Facebook, Sons of Hackney and other crappy shows. It is sad when you go to a bike rally and see more cars than motorcycles. Myself and mates get together and camp out all ride our motorcycles and trust also respect each other several times a year. I was in the days gone by a S.A.R but now just enjoy my BSA and Enfield, camping and the open road. Thank you for your videos. Also respect those who have earned it not demand it,.

For me, it depended on how parking was done, if it was parked inside the tthe clubs land, I did exactly what you said and left the lock on the bike where it hung. When it was a situation of there was a paid public car park round the corner from the clubhouse and the only parking the club had was very limited and for club members and prospects patrolling every so often. I locked it Hope the kid has a great time, god your advice would have been really useful when I started.

No chain and lock even at a motorcycle event hosted by a club.
